Cockpits, Profiles and Logos

The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body short to medium range twin engined jet airliner built from 1967 to the present day. There are four versions of the aircraft:

  • Boeing 737 'Original' this is the first model of the aircraft and consists of the -100 and -200. The aircraft entered service in 1968 with Lufthansa. There were two models, the -100 and -200. Production ceased in 1985.
  • Boeing 737 'Classic' the re engined model with an updated flight deck to include CRT screens. There are three models, the -300 the -400 and -500. Production was from 1984 up to 2000.
  • Boeing 737 NG (Next Generation) had updated structure, engines and flightdeck. Produced between 1996 and 2019. It has four models, the -600, -700, -800 and -900.
  • Boeing 737 MAX is the latest version of the aircraft produced from 2016. The aircraft had new engines updated structures and updated flightdeck. The aircraft was grounded in 2019 due to a fault in the flight control system. The MAX also consists of four models which directly replace the NG models, these are the MAX7, MAX8, MAX9 and MAX10.
