Dassault Profile

Dassault Aviation SA is a French manufacturer of military, regional and business jets - the company is a subsidiary of the Dassault Group.

The company was founded in 1929 by Marcel Bloch as Societe des Avions Marcel Bloch or "MB" but after World War II, Bloch changed his name to Marcel Dassault and on 20th January 1947 changed the company name to Avions Marcel Dassault.

In 1971 Dassault acquired Breguet forming Avions Marcel Dassault-Breguet Aviation (AMD-BA) and in 1991 the company was renamed Dassault Aviation.

The most well known aircraft manufactured by Dassault include the Mystere, Etendard, Mirage, Atlantique, Alpha Jet and Rafale military aircraft.

The business jets are known as the Falcon family, the most famous being the Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X.

The only civil airliner that flew under the Dassault name was the Mercure which was designed to compete with the Boeing 737, however on 12 were built.


The poster is printed on 220gsm silk paper and is delivered in a cardboard tube to protect it in transit.

Cockpit Revolution has been developing cockpit posters for the last 5 years and are drawn by a Flight Engineer using his expertise in aircraft engineering and training.

All the posters are based upon the manufacturers documentation, visits to the aircraft and simulators and photographs.
